About IPSSA

The mandate for “Investment promotion in Sub-Saharan Africa” was awarded to Osec by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) on 1 January 2008. The programme is to run for three years (until the end of 2010).

In spring 2008, the producing countries Ghana and Madagascar were selected from a list of six potential countries in West and East Africa due to their huge potential for foreign investment, the favourable general conditions and the calibre of the local investment promotion agency.

Activities on the ground are being implemented by our project managers in conjunction with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). They are responsible for coordinating all the project activities and for monitoring the selection of local business partners, in particular.

Are you interested in business opportunities in Ghana and Madagascar or are you looking for someone who can help implement your investment projects? If so, click here.
